The patient portal allows you to access your healthcare record 24 hours-a-day, 7 days a week and anywhere via Internet access.
With the portal you can:
  • View your health care record
  • Laboratory Results
  • Allergies
  • Immunizations
  • Medications
  • Procedures
  • Health Issues History
  • Continuity of Care Document (CCD)
  • Transition of Care Document
Accessing the portal is simple. All you need is an active email address* and an invitation, via email, to register for access to the portal. Once you receive the invitation in your email, follow the Internet link to a web page that will guide you in creating your account. It’s that easy!

Enrollment Guide
Enrolling in the portal is simple, follow this guide to get access to MyHealthEP and your healthcare information.

Invitation by E-mail
After providing your active email address to a Registration Representative, you will receive and email invitation from “UMC of El Paso” to register for the portal. Follow the Internet link and steps to create your account. Enrollment takes less than five minutes.

If you had a healthcare visit to UMC or El Paso Children's Hospital you should have received an invitation to enroll for the portal via email. If you did not receive an email, please visit the hospital's Registration Department for enrollment assistance.

Creating a Username and Password
Your username must be unique and contain at least three alphanumeric characters (A-Z, a-z, 0-9). Include upper and lower case characters.

A password with at least six characters with both uppercase & lowercase letters, special characters and numbers is best for security. Include a mix of upper and lower case characters plus numbers.

Logging In to the Patient Portal
Visit http://myhealthep.org to log in to the portal with your new username and password.









Navigating the Portal
Once inside the portal your homepage is the central point to access information.

Click on this icon located on the top left of the web page to view your health record, lab results and other medical information. The portal includes other useful links at the top and bottom of the pages.

Once you’ve accessed your information remember to log-off by clicking “Sign Out” on the upper left hand side of the grey navigation bar. Additionally, you can exit the browser application to prevent unauthorized access to your personal health information.
